It’s already been confirmed that the final season of Gotham will introduce Bane to the series and he is featured in this new promotional reel for the series.
The promo, which focuses on the end of Gotham City, confirms that this year’s season will feature the subtitle “Legend of the Dark Knight.” Here, viewers are reminded that the city fell into the clutches of criminals at Season 4’s end. As far as where the final season is going, showrunner John Stephens recently to Den of Geek, “We pick up at the top of Season 5, at the conclusion of No Man’s Land, Day 365,” Stephens said. “Then, we cycle backwards to day 87, three months into No Man’s Land, where Jim has created his green zone and wants his reunification. We’re catching up, and for the first nine episodes, we’re always catching up to that first scene we see.”
The final batch of episodes will feature the return of a number of villains from past Gotham seasons, including the Joker (Cameron Monaghan), Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Catwoman (Camren Bicondova), Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas), Solomon Grundy (Drew Powell), Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel), Poison Ivy (Peyton List), Victor Zsasz (Anthony Carrigan), Hugo Strange (B.D.
