The Puurrrr-Fect Casting Happened Late Today: Zoe Kravitz is Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ – Maybe.

Catwoman has set her sites on The Batman.

If we’re going by the various online articles, X-Men: First Class actress Zoe Kravitz will star as the lethal villain opposite Robert Pattinson, who will portray The Dark Knight. She will also be joining Jeffrey Wright, who has been cast as Commissioner Gordon, and Jonah Hill, if he chooses which villain role he wants to play.

It’s important to note: ZERO outlets have confirmed this news as an EXCLUSIVE. Everyone is just reporting it with “various sources.”

The Big Little Lies actress is no stranger to the genre, having played a role in X-Men: First Class. Her past credits include and get this… VOICING Catwoman in The LEGO Batman Movie as well as a part in Spider-Man: Into the SpiderVerse.

In the past, the role of Catwoman was filled by Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether and Eartha Kitt in the 1960’s Batman TV Series, Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992’s Batman Returns, Halle Berry in 2004’s Catwoman, Anne Hathaway in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises and Cameron Bicondova on the TV series Gotham.

We reached out to Warner Bros. for confirmation, but so far have received no word back.

The Batman Opens in theaters on June 25, 2021.
