The upcoming Jared Leto-led adaptation of the Marvel Comics title Morbius is set to receive its first trailer shortly.
Sony Pictures, which is distributing the movie this Summer, has cut a new two minute thirty-one second trailer for the film. According to Trailer Track, the Alberta Film Ratings board rated the trailer recently, which usually means it will be online within the next two weeks or so. Given that Sony is releasing Bad Boys For Life next Friday, the trailer being attached that film seems very likely.
Daniel Espinosa directed the film about a scientist named Michael Morbius, who is suffering from a rare blood disease and attempts to create a cure for it on his own, but instead becomes infected with a form of vampirism. Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris and Tyrese Gibson are also part of the cast.
Elsewhere, the full-length final trailer for Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey, which is going to be red-banded, has already been rated by Consumer Protection BC. Apparently, it contains two uses of crude language and it runs for two minutes and twenty-two seconds. This will mark only the second trailer for the movie following the first one released back in early October.
Morbius opens July 31st while Birds of Prey arrives February 7th.
