We already know that the final episode of Gotham is going to take place several years later, but what we didn’t know for sure was whether or not Ben McKenzie’s Jim will indeed don the character’s signature mustache for that final show.
Well, on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night, McKenzie appeared on the program and he was there to discuss the upcoming batch of final episodes with Kimmel and that finale in question. Kimmel straight up asked about his character’s iconic ‘stache and McKenzie said that, while it probably won’t be completely authentic, that facial hair will indeed officially arrive at the end of this final season.
“Oh yeah. I had two days to grow it,” McKenzie said to Kimmel and because he didn’t have the time to grow the whole thing fully, the makeup department for the hit series gabe him some help.”They stuck a thing on me and it looks great,” the actor finished, adding a laugh.
