Director James Cameron Reveals ‘Avatar 2’ Concept Art At CES

Appearing in Las Vegas yesterday at CES 2020, Filmmaker James Cameron stopped in to show off concept art for the upcoming sequel to Avatar which will be opening in under two years from now.

Cameron brought the art into automaker Daimler AG’s keynote presentation Monday night and showed it off. Daimler AG, for their part, had art of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle concept that was inspired by the world of Avatar and was developed in coordination with Cameron dubbed the ‘Vision AVTR.’

For years now, we have heard that the next film in the franchise will prominently feature Pandora’s oceans and the art Cameron showed suggests that’s the actually going to happen, with some awesome-looking tropical vistas seen. More vehicles and machinery are also expected to be revealed in Avatar 2.

Avatar 2 will finally be released by Disney on December 17, 2021 with three more sequels in saga to follow in 2023, 2025 and 2027.
